Do you feel ready for Monday's?

A good ergonomically designed workstation will boost your energy, take away many of the aches and pains that build during the week and leave you full of energy to enjoy the weekend.

For many people I know Monday arrives too fast, but not because they don’t want the fun weekends to end (although I do still have a few friends that somehow manage to party from Friday to Sunday) but because they still haven’t recovered properly from work the week before. So I tell and show them how to make their workstation more forgiving so that by Friday they are not totally exhausted. After just a week they are feeling the results and wake up the following Monday feeling rejuvenated rather than needing another day to get moving. After two weeks they are feeling far more productive and wonder how they managed to work at all before!

There are so many simple things you can do to make working at your desk easier. Where you place your paperwork and keeping the space under your desk clear are two of the simplest things to change and manage. However, having a good office chair that you can adjust easily to suit you is often the most crucial thing to change. A standard office chair will cause muscle and mental fatigue, simply because you cannot maintain good working postures and your circulation will soon become less affective.
