DSE Insurance is a new policy that has been created following the Access to Work funding changes in 2010. It allows you to name your DSE users and cover against the costs for expensive products such as ergonomic chairs etc when employees are diagnosed with chronic back problems, injuries or diasbilities. The premiums start from as little as £20 per employee for £1300 of cover per claim. With ten years experience working in the industry, including working closely with Access to Work, DSE Solutions were asked help put together the insurance policy that is now available and regulated by the Financial Services Authority (305785). It is an excellent product that really allows you to budget for any unseen equipment needs and our input has also meant that we have managed to get many benefits through that work in favour of the employer and of course ultimately the employee too. The biggest one is that diagnosed conditions only have to be confirmed as likely to cause a problem for 6 months, whereas the  Access to Work scheme it was 12 months!
